At Kare Infusion Center, our professional staff provide infusion services in a safe and relaxing environment. All infusions are performed in coordination with each patient’s referring provider. Our clinical staff aim to provide a convenient service that may decrease cost of hospital admission and create minimal disruption in patient lives.
Our Staff
Gerald Ray Callas, MD
Dr. Callas is a board certified anesthesiologist in Beaumont, Texas where he has been in practice for 13 years. He graduated from Texas A&M University, and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Callas is a decorated submariner of the U.S. Navy and a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He has served in numerous leadership roles and directorships representing physicians and the great state of Texas. He is married to his lovely wife, Lisa, and has 3 beautiful daughters.
Kevin Stahl, DO
Dr. Stahl is a native of Southeast Texas. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1984. From 1984-1987, he attended Texas A&M University studying Biomedical Science. In 1987, he began medical school and graduated with high honors in 1991 from UNTHSC. Dr. Stahl had a family practice in Port Neches, TX from 1992-1999. He was board certified in family practice by the ACOFP from 1999-2007. In 2000, Dr. Stahl retired from his practice to raise his children. He is married to Dawn Robertson, M.D., and they reside in Beaumont. In his spare time, he enjoys BSF (where he serves as a group leader), training for sprint triathlons, travel, and music.
Doug McMakin, RPh – Pharmacy Director
Doug is a registered pharmacist, owner of McMakin Pharmacy where he has practiced for 31 years. He also owns and operates Vital Care of Southeast Texas Home Infusion. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in 1986 before returning to Beaumont. Doug and his lovely wife have 4 children.
Brian Broaddus, MD
Dr. Broaddus is a board certified anesthesiologist that has been practicing in the Beaumont area for more than eight years. He is a graduate of Baylor University, and he completed his medical training and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Broaddus and his beautiful wife have 6 amazing children. When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Broaddus enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and surfing.
John Field, MD
Dr Field attended Texas A&M University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and completed his anesthesia residency at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. Married with two children, he has been in private practice in Beaumont for more than 20 years.
Shanoah Hilliard, APRN, FNP-C
Shanoah is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine. She earned her FNP in 2019 and has worked in family practice and in infusion therapy. Prior to becoming an NP, she has 12 years of nursing experience, most of which were in medical and cardiovascular critical care. She has a passion for patient care and is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients and is enthusiastic about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and a holistic approach to health. Outside of work, Shanoah enjoys reading, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending as much time as possible with her husband and kids.
Lisa Callas, RN
Lisa Callas is a registered nurse. She graduated from UTMB with her BSN. Lisa has been a nurse specializing in labor and delivery and surgery for over 20 years. Lisa is from LaMarque,Texas and is married to Dr. Ray Callas. She has three beautiful daughters. Her passion is providing patients the highest quality and comfort of care.
